What to look for in a woven bamboo accessory
A practical checklist for weave, edges, components, fit and care—without mistaking a styled photograph for a specification.

Before choosing a bamboo accessory, inspect the weave and edges, check every component’s material, compare dimensions and read the care instructions. Use several photographs of the exact style. Small handmade variations can occur, and a styling image cannot establish size, strength or material composition.
Follow the lines of the weave
Begin with the way the strands cross. A closely spaced weave gives a different visual effect from an open one, and a curve changes the pattern again. Check the front, side and edge photographs of the exact style you are considering. Handwork can have small differences; a perfectly uniform image is not a substitute for seeing the product from more than one angle.
Check the parts beyond bamboo
For a bag, notice the handle, opening, lining and trim; for earrings, the hook matters as much as the woven body. KineTimber lists hypoallergenic alloy hooks, but that label does not guarantee that every wearer will avoid irritation. The current hair ornaments have no separate clip. If a particular metal, lining or fastener matters to you, check the individual material list and ask with the product reference before buying.
Measure the item, not the model image
Compare a bag’s width, height and depth with one you already use; its page states when the height includes the handle. Outer dimensions do not prove what fits through the opening. Earring length includes the hook, with diameter listed separately where relevant. For hair ornaments, check both length and width against your hairstyle; their hold depends on placement and hair volume. Enlarged styling images are not rulers.
Choose with future care in mind
A piece you enjoy wearing and can care for is more useful than a claim that every handmade item is identical. Keep woven bamboo dry and away from prolonged sunlight or pressure. Wipe bags with a dry cloth or soft brush; after wearing earrings or hair ornaments, wipe and store them in separate soft pouches. Do not force a hair ornament to bend.
